What’s a FURID?

FURID is a fun and standarized way to identify yourself and your hobbies with fellow people and friends. It stands for Full Unique Register of Identity Data.

Each FURID has a unique number, the FURID Number. It also has a FURID Key Frase, 4 words that more or less describes the FURID’s person. We design and emit 2 kind of cards: the FURID Identity Card and the FURID Collectible Cards.

The FURID Identity Card is your personal card, meant to personal use. It contains all the FURID data. There is only one version of the Identity Card, the older versions are not valid

We keep your latest data on a Notion database to keep track of the FURIDs made, and to make newer Cards for future FURID versions. The data will only be used for the making of FURIDs, never given to third parties. If you want your data to be removed, please contact a member of the FURID Committee.

The FURID Collectible Card is a collectable card, meant to be shared and traded with people. It contains less data than the Identity Card. There are various editions of the Collectible Cards, both common and special ones.

When you get your FURID, you will receive 4 digital files: the image files for both the FURID Identity Card and the FURID Collectible Card, and 2 pdf files to print and cut yourself copies of both cards (in DIN A4 paper size).
